San Pedro otra vez

Working on writing my reflection paper for ICADS. So much to process. Going through journals, old blogs, papers from meetings...

Being back in San Pedro has been luxurious! The air feels wonderfully fresh and crisp, the food is delicious and much more varied... For breakfast I had an egg sandwich, a banana (fruit again!), strawberry yogurt with granola, and coffee. Mmm. I went running around the nearby soccer field, and then came back to a long shower without freezing water. I feel cleaner and healthier than I´ve felt in a long, long time. I´ve loved talking with Mary- she has such a warm, soothing demeanor. I´m so glad that I´m back at her house, as it´s a treat to be back in the bed where I did my first Costa Rican thinking. I loved playing with Jael this morning. In the time that I´ve been gone, he´s become a talker and a smiler! How fun. :)

changes:
people don´t usually meet my eye when I walk past them
air is noticeably dirtier
hardly any bugs!
this morning after waking up only heard birds like I hear in the US. no rooster, dog, cow sounds

Okay back to trying to organize these thoughts, and choosing what I want to talk about in the presentations tomorrow. 4 days from this moment will be on the plane to Charlotte!
