What´s going on??
Any second Jess will come upstairs so we can go run, but quickly here´s a post...All of this terrorist news is unsettling. A couple hours ago I felt sad and overwhelmed, not necessarily afraid for my personal safety (though not thrilled about traveling right now) but just upset that this is happening anywhere... I left ICADS after hours of writing and went back to Mary´s house. She updated me on the news she´d heard (no toothpaste, shampoo, hair gel) and I played with her and the kids there. Called Mom which made me feel better, since her worries were more centered on finding K´s honey wheat bread and what will happen next in Harry Potter 6 than what may be happening in the air. Slept a little bit next, lulled by the children playing. It made me feel better for some reason to hear kids crying, since I knew that within moments their world would be better after comforting from Mary. Ok Jess is here. Just thanked Mary and told her her house is a place of peace. Feeling stronger, about to run through these streets which I think will also make me feel safer - feet hitting the ground, something solid about that.
Praying for safety for all and some kind of resolution. Hasta pronto.
Don´t know if they´ll make me pour out my holy water from Cartago! funny thought
